Previously known as the Millennium Dome, The O₂ opened in July 2007, offering the best in leisure, entertainment and accommodation. The O₂ Arena, now a famous 1.25 million ft² sports and music venue, is one of the largest indoor arenas in Europe seating audiences of up to 23,000 and hosts in excess of 150 sport and entertainment events a year. The arena is a world-class venue for all the top music acts, both recognised artists and up-and-coming new talents, and is home to IndigO₂, a live music club with a capacity of 2,200, making The O₂ a must for music-lovers.

The O₂ Arena will play its part in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games as a venue for Artistic Gymnastics and host of the Basketball finals; and it is the venue for the Tennis ATP World Tour Finals until 2012.
